The Elgin Coin Club publishes the Elgin Coin Club Newsletter once each month. The Newsletter is the informal mouthpiece of the Elgin Coin Club.(Click here to go directly to the newsletter list.)

The Elgin Coin Club Newsletter won first place
in the American Numismatic Association's
Best Local Publications Contest for 1995, 1996, and 1997!

In a return engagement, it won second place
in the in the same contest for 1999
and third place in 2000!

In each case the awards were for the Newsletters
of the previous year.

The Newsletter and its contents are copyrighted but you may use anything in them (accept as noted below) for non-commercial use as long as you give credit to the Elgin Coin Club Newsletter. This blanket permission does not extend to articles specifically marked as copyrighted by the author of the article. In the latter case, you must get explicit written permission from the author either directly or through the Newsletter to use that material.

You can get back copies of the Elgin Coin Club Newsletter either from the editor at the regular meeting or with a letter to the club post office box.

For a convenient package of many of the feature articles published between 1994 and 2001, see Money Meanderings where you can purchase a copy of the CD-ROM book Money Meanderings: An Introduction to Numismatics. This book contains 86 articles, almost all new graphics, and a bibliography of over 75 resources.
